Hi , i am permanent resident since 6 years and planing to apply for citizenship but in the mean time we filed divorce and divorce procces takes about 3 months ,

in N-400 application Part B-A says ( i have been lawful permanent resident atleast 5 years )

and Part B-B says ( i have been permanent resident atleast 3 years and i have been married to living with same U.S citizen for the last three years) .

my question is, in application N-400 if i check Part B-B which says i am still married with U.S citizen , i know citizenship process will take about 5 months , during this time i will be divorced from my wife , how would it be effect my citizenship ? need a advise please.

You have had your GC for six years so you don't need to married to a citizen to get citizenship. You are fine even if you divorce before you file..........It would not change the speed of getting citizenship. So you can qualify by using just part B-A.
