I'm under the age of 18 and am not living with my parents....am I able to get child support from them?

You yourself cannot get support from your parents but whomever is caring for you can

The family (not you) can request money to car for you but minus a court order they (your parents) are not compelled to

And Melissa, you can't really claim emancipation (even if it was a possibility in your province, which it is not) and then ask for child support.

It defeats the entire point
