Aug 14, 2008 #1 P prsully New Member We are currently paying child support to a 17 year old child (Current in payment), we just resently found out that she is going to move out of her house and in with her boyfriend. Are we still obligated to pay the support?

Aug 14, 2008 #2 D Duranie Moderator Yes, she is not emancipated. Dad should be filing for custody of her so she cannot move out.
