Child support afte 11 years

A one night stand that my husband had many years ago has showed up after 11 years. She says her child belongs to him. She is saying she is taking him to court for support. The issue is at the time they had sex she was married to someone else. When the baby was born her husband signed all the papers at the hosptial saying he was the father. He signed the Birth certificate knowing that it was not his. Can she now take my husband to court. after so many years. My husband has not even seen this child. There is nothing showing that it is my husbands child. We live in South Carolina and she lives in Florida

Your hubby needs to google the paternity laws for FL but if her husband acknowledged paternity it is highly unlikely he can back peddle out of it now. Normally though if there was no legal father, this woman could file for CS and establish paternity at any time. Until this woman actually files something I would not worry about it. Her husband is likely on the hook here. My guess is that they are divorcing so now she wants to change daddies, or her husband no longer wants the responsibility.
