If you are at a boarding school/residential treatment center what is the age that you can legally leave without anyones consent? Is it 17 (because you are an adult at 17 in Texas) or is it 18?
Alright. I have a friend that is currently in a boarding school/residential treatment center. He has been listed as a run away for about two years now and that was the reason his parents sent him to this place. So, what I am wondering is: If anyone was to go and pick him up from the place (like friends) what kind of trouble could they get in?
