I lived with my ex girlfriend in Portland, OR, when our son was born. 4-5 months after he was born, our relationship went sour and I moved out. Because I had no other place to go, I left Oregon and relocated to SLC, Ut with my mom. I was unable to find a job until about 1 month ago and I have been working so I can send my ex some money for child support and possibly move back to portland to be near him (my son). My question is, she now has a new boyfriend in Iowa and is talking about moving there.... can she move my son that far away?? We do not have any kind of custody papers, however I am on the birth Certificate as his father. What steps would I need to go through to ensure she cannot move him that far away, if any and what is my best course of action at this point?? Any advise would be great as I am really stressing about this.....
