Hello everybody.

A former employer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection (Circuit City) owing me wages. I have since went through the appropriate motions in order to file my claim with the claims administrator and as a result of such am no longer considered "C.U.D.," and am listed as a proper Priority Creditor (wages.)

I have looked high and low and I can't get a straight answer as to WHEN creditor claims begin to get paid.

Any information on this matter would be helpful!

Thanks.

Try calling the bankruptcy trustee and see when claims will be paid-- I am assuning it will be anywhere from 1-5 years depending on who is in front of you-- ie.. trustee, attorney ... Long story short dont hold your breath! -- but calling the trustee office ( have the case # ready) they should tell you who is first and where you are in respect to payment.
