Changing to paying through court??

This is in Georgia.

Can I change and have my ex pay child support through the courts instead of me waiting on a check to be sent. Several months will be paid on time then the payments will be a couple of days late...then weeks, etc. I just need it to be here on the 1st and 15th...dates he choose.

You can file a Motion to modify your child support order. Show the judge why it is necessary and he/she might do it.

Yeah, I too would definitely file a motion to modify. Your child deserves to be supported by BOTH parents. Are YOU allowed to pay rent/mortgage, grocery bill for your child days or weeks late?
