Arrest, Search, Seizure, Warrant Can you erase an arrest record?

I was involved in an incident and could be arrested for shoplifting or retail fraud or something like that. They told me I could be arrested. I am innocent and didn't do anything. But if i get arrested that will be on the record. Can I get it erased somehow because I don't want anyone to see it and I didn't deserve it at all.

Before you have a record, you must first be convicted. I read your other thread. I doubt seriously that you'll be arrested for that incident. That said, I answered that on the other thread.

If there were no Police involved or court date the only record is within store and any retail theft database they might subscribe to
