My ex-wife is wanting to modify the child support due her. We have it written in our separation agreement that I will pay $500/month for child support. My understanding was that since it was written into the seperation agreement that, unless we both agreed, the $500 would be the amount paid. I thought that the judge who signed it, said this to me. Could I wrong on this?
She is also going out of town almost every other weekend(the weekend I have the children), going out to movies all the time, and other extravagent things that someone needing money should not be able to do. I have not been able to go out of town for 4 years and cannot afford going out. If I keep track of this, could this affect if she's able to get more money? If she was struggling, I wouldn't mind, but she's better off than me and still trying to get more money.
Thanks for your time.
