My fiance ex wife keeps calling department of child services on me making false reports and has accused me of burning her child i want to know if i can take legal action for the false reporting

How do you know it's his ex wife? Talk to a lawyer.

It would only be illegal to knowingly report false information. If you are suspected of misconduct and that is reported and investigated then you have no action to take. You likely can't prove that false allegations were made knowingly with some malicious intent.

Reports to the police, or quasi-law enforcement agencies are protected communications.

Unless you're loaded, as in wealthy, you'll never pierce that statutory, and in some cases constitutional protection.

Society believes in the people reporting crime.
As a public policy matter, such communications are protected.
