Can I renew my license with a pending DUI?

In early March 2020 I got arrested for DUI. Due to Covid, my case has been pending for a while and my official court date has still not been set. I won the first hearing that determines whether or not your license will be immediately suspended, but my license is set to expire on April 9, 2021. If that time comes and I still haven't been to court, will I be able to renew my license/get a new one as I would normally be able to given that I have yet to be charged with anything?

Since you haven't been convicted, your license not yet suspended, or that you have not even been charged, you should be able to renew you license. The only way to know for sure is to try.

I would expect that the Georgia Department of Driver Services would be the best place to get this question answered.

I also suspect that one may renew a driver license two months in advance of expiration.
