Can i renew my green card??

Hello, i have 2 years green card which will expire in the end of this year, i just found out that im being sued for bouncing checks in my home country(due to family business) but boucing checks in my home country is a felony crime but its from business purpose..nothing illegal. Will that be a problem when i renew my green card?? I apologise for my english and i appreciate all the reply, thank you

Being a defendant in a civil suit, even IF that lawsuit had been filed in the USA isn't what these folks www.uscis.gov consider a CRIME of moral turpitude.

Factually, a civil lawsuit doesn't address issues of criminality.

If things are as you disclose, I see nothing that would disqualify you.

But, these days are new days, and things are changing.
