Can DCF show up without notice?

Is it true that DCF can no longer show up at your home unannounced, and due to the extreme amount of false accusations, investigating every phone call was becoming harassment?

Without a court order in hand, you don't have to permit them (or anyone else) entry to your home.
What hasn't changed is that you don't have to speak with them, even if they have a court order.

To my knowledge no such laws exist but mainly because Children's Services (DCF) has no force of law. You do not have to allow them in your home nor are you forced to answer their questions. However if you have done no wrong its best to work with them.
