Buying a Salvaged Car, Do i have rights?

Hello, Well i just wanted to ask a few questions before i even consider buying a salvage car.

1. Can we make a contract that states, any mechanical damage caused by the car was a damage done before buying the car? ( Over $2,000 preferablly, Minor would not be considered)

2. If we make this deal, is it even supported by the law? Why or why not?

I thought about this ( Im studyig law myself) and he could just claim that i did those damages and i took advantage of the situation.

Do NOT buy a salvaged car.
You'll get screwed.

If you buy a used car from a private seller, it is an "as-is" sale.

That is custom, practice, and law.

Buying a salvaged car gives you less protection, assuming that is possible.

Just don't do it.

Save up until you can get a better car.

You'll be throwing your money away.

There are no protections other than NOT doing it.
