Two nights ago my husband caught 4 males attempting to break into his work truck. He shined a flashlight on them in hope of scaring them away while he called the police. Instead of scaring them away the men attempted to break into out home threatening to kill us. My husband and I locked ourselves in our bedroom with his 10 year old son with us. One man kicked in the backdoor and came into our house and was trying to push open the bedroom door that my husband was holding closed, one was trying to get into the bedroom window. The other two were trying to find another way into our house. The neighbors reported seeing one man on our roof. It took ten minutes for the police to arrive and only then did the men leave. The police didn't catch any of them. We are terrified, the men came into our home with the intention of killing us. We are terrified they might come back. Would this be grounds to break our lease?
