My father had worked for a Trucking Company with the conditions of renting the Truck to own it. While working for close to a year, the company did not want to acknowledge the contract and kept all deposits towards the truck ownership amounting to over $50K.

I suggest you advise your father to discuss his concerns with a few local attorneys.

If there is any hope for dad recovering a few dollars of the 50 large, he'll need a real lawyer to help him.
