Both citizens live abroad and wanna divorce

My husband and I got married in CA 9 years ago. We both live in Hong Kong now and would like to have a mutual divorce. We have no kids, pets nor fixed assets. Should we get a divorce in Hong Kong or have to fly back US (we were residents in WA before we moved to HK).

It's probably easier to just go ahead and do it in Hong Kong, per Hong Kong law.

It should be easier, and far less expensive to pursue a divorce in Hong Kong, or nearby Macao.

However, choose the path that works the best for both of you!
