I was recently let go by an iron company where i used to operated a crane putting up buildings, This is a union job but they never let me join the union. The rate of pay a union operator gets from the pay that i was getting was very wide, I did this for almost 12 years. i also did iron work in the field also a union job and did not get paid the union wage. Do I have any recourse in attempting to recoup any lost wages?

they told me that there wasn't enough operating hours for me to join. The union only wanted 20hrs a month. and i bet i operated over a 100 sometimes.

You better contact the local,and tell them. If that is the case you are entitled to everything under the contract including seniority rights.
