My jurisdiction is: Florida

My husband worked for an ex-employer for a few days and is still owed $100 from a month ago. My husband worked "under the table" by request of the employer. The employer has been avoiding all atempts to collect this money.:no: Is there anything that we can do? Please help!!

Assuming that your husband has or intends to report this money for tax purposes and pay the appropriate tax, he can contact the department of labor for your state and file a complaint.

If he has nor or does not intend to pay tax on this money, he'll only cause himself more trouble if he takes any action.

Yes, he is a sub-contractor and has an accountant.
