Auto Deal Gone Bad

I purchased a truck in Januar of this year. I put 3k down and postdated a check for 906.00 for taxes and tags. After a month of not receiving my payment book from the finance company, I called the dealer and he stated that the finance company that agreed to finance th truck would no longer finance it, therefore he would have to work on new financing. The dealer wasn't able to find financing and the temp tags were expires, so he just gave us anoher temp tag for another month. The second set of temp tags expired and he still didn't find financing, so he gave me another temp tag. This has been going on for about eight months now, so what can I do to get my hard tags???

This is a good question. Who was responsible for securing financing for the truck? You've got some real issues besides just the tags, which at least you have.

Why don't you re-read the contract a little more carefully? I recently bought a new car and decided I should probably read the fine print. I read that the dealership had 30 days to get me financed. I don't know whether or not that is the case with you though.
