My nieces are in foster care they are 6 months old and live in New Jersey they've been in foster care for 5 months I'm try to get kindhip for them but waiting for them to hopefully transfer them which it seem like the social worker might not be doing

Getting care of children out of state can be very difficult. The goal is to keep the children in the same jurisdiction as the investigation and parent(s). That goes double if the goal is reunification.

Other than the suggestion above, the answer depends on the relevant facts, very few of which you shared in your post. Among other things, where are the children's parents and why are the kids in foster care at such a young age?
