Okay, I've recently learned that even if your purchase a vehicle "as-is" if the seller misled or deceived you by lying (ie. the clutch is brand new) could deem enough to null the contract. Any truth to this?

Short answer: No. When you buy a vehicle as is and you do not get it inspected, you take a risk. You have the burden of proving the seller knew about the previous problem. If they claimed the clutch was brand new and then the clutch goes out and it was in fact not new, then you MIGHT be able to sue them for repairs but you have to prove the buyer knowingly misled you.

Only a couple states have used car lemon laws, google yours.
