Am I eligible for arrears

My ex and i divorced in 1987. he was ordered to pay $200/month child support. he never paid anything, and always worked "under the table". so the AG was never able to serve him for non payment. Now he has "come clean" and has started filing income taxes. Is it too late for me to try to get the
30K he owes me in back child support. i should have received child support from 1987 thru 2000, that is when my youngest child turned 18. we both live in texas if that matters.

It should not be too late, I just do not know how aggressive the TX AG or CSE is going to be in collecting since the kids are over 18.
