Personal Bankruptcy Afraid charge offs will beat me to bankruptcy filing

Hi,
I only paid the retainer fee for my bankruptcy attorney for chapter 7 and can't pay the full amount required to undergo the filing process. I am afraid that if I don't file in time then the creditors will issue charge offs or possibly sue me. Should I be concerned about this?

Yes, the creditors will keep doing their job until you have filed and have a case #

Don't be concerned. If they sue you, they sue you. The Bankruptcy can stop a judgment just as easily as a lawsuit or collection.
