Consumer Fraud Account Services Fraud Warning

Today's scam number was 704-201-6624.
I asked where she was and she said New York. I next asked where in ny and she hung up.
I know 704 is not a ny area code.

i agree fruad activities is very dangerous so account system is good for and good policy for you give the warning .
 
When I get a call from "Ann at account services" or any similar caller, I immediately program that number into my contacts as "Fraud 1." Then the next 10 times they call on that number, I know not to answer it. It is not nearly as annoying. I am now up to Fraud 9...

At least it gives me a bit of control...
 
i have tried everything also. yell at them, plead with them, berate them, but all in vain. they are trained to just hangup the phone. I would be happy to help put these ***holes in jail.
 
Harrass from them everyday, main # that calls is from 701-671-9447 and when I wait to speak to them and demand they remove my number, they hang up on me.
 
They call me EVERYDAY, ALL DAY! I am so sick of it! It is driving me crazy! When I tell them I do not have a single credit card & take me off of their call list, they hang up on me! Please make these people pay for harassment!

All you have to do is block the number.

Or, change your number, make it unlisted and un;published, and don't give it to anyone BUT trusted acquaintances.

Most of all, never use your REAL number for anything.

Say you have no number, or give them your old number.

One last thing, never give your REAL number to delivery services.

It isn't necessary.
 
I've been called at least twice a month by them for the last 6 months. I always push 1 to get to a human. I've simply asked to be taken off their list, I've tried to engage them in discussion trying to find out how they got my information, I've asked for a supervisor, and I've taken the rude/screaming approach (not my usual style, but I'm desperate). Every time, I get the same response - click! They refuse to answer questions. On the most recent call, the woman asked me if I owe more than $3000 in credit card debt and when I asked her which card she was asking about, she said 'Its just a simple question, why can't you answer it?'. I responded that I had just asked her a simple question as well and wouldn't give out any personal information unless she answered mine. She got quite upset, kept reiterating that it was a simple question and demanding that I answer. In a moment of rage I finally screamed 'why won't you just answer my question? You're the one who called me!' and she hung up.
 
I have started getting calls from them, they called my parents about a month ago and scammed them out of about $1,000 dollars so I recognized them right away. Fortunately with my parents I filed complaints with the FCC, FTC, BBB and called the state's attorney general. After filing a complaint with the attorney general I received a call from them about 2 days later asking for us to remove the complaint. We refused until the money was placed back into her account. They said it would be in about 3-4 weeks. We refused again and told them we had talked to our bank and they said it would only take about 3 days. The money was credited back to her account in about 3 days.
 
They use other companies Caller IDs

I have filed a complaint with the FCC twice, but I have little hope due to the fact that Account Services is using other comapnies Caller IDs.
