Abandonment issues

Hi I just have a quick question, I sold an individual my motorcycle and they sent me payment, since then I have not heard a word from them as far as when they were going to pick up the motorcycle and have not responded to my emails. How long must I hold onto the motorcycle before I can resell it or whatever with it? I live in Alabama

Unless you want to cancel the sale and return him the money, you can't do nothing. The motorcycle is no longer yours. You can't resell it.
Send him a certified letter requesting that he pick up the motorcycle by a certain date or you will dispose of it. Good Luck!

Hey thank you for the advice, can I charge him covered storage fees? It understand it no longer belongs to me but I am keeping it covered and in my garage, can I at least collect on that?

No, since you are using your own garage. If you were storing it in a different location, you could probably make a case. Good Luck!
