2 mos. unpaid wages ($10K+) due from employer - How to proceed (Emp: IL, Self-NC)

Hi, My last employer did not pay me the wages for last 2 months after I resigned from the company. The net amount is approx 10K+. I spoke to some local attorney but they are not interested to fight the case as the amount is less (for them). What can I do to collect this money from the employer...

I have sent postal mail to employer to giving 10 days of response time. After that I recently sent the details/unpaid proof to IL Dept of Labor. But not sure if there is anything else that I could do (e.g. filing a case/using collection agency) to recover my unpaid wages?

Let the DOL do its work. It's unlikely that a collection agency will take up a wage claim; that's the DOL's job.
