I was recently discharged from 1st offenders probation. I was really confused about the conditions of what would happen after my probation. They told me that it was the only kind of felony I could erase from my record. So I was not sure if that meant expounging in 5 years or if it would automatically be seaed when my probation was over. This is in the section of the law.

"Upon fulfillment of the terms and conditions of probation, the court shall discharge such person and dismiss the proceedings against him."

I really would like to know for reasons such as jobs. Do I have to tell them that I was convicted of a felony. Or do I tell them that the court withheld judgment even though I plead guilty. HELP!

You should speak to the lawyer that represented you at trial.

It is likely that your entire record has been expunged by virtue of your exemplary probationary conduct.
