thank you for reading my post. 1 month ago the ups delivery man ran over my dog in my own driveway. he died on the scene. the driver was apologetic and called it in right away. i never heard from UPS. 2 days later their insurance called to investigate asked me a few questions and i have not heard from them since. I feel certain they would have paid for medical bills but i have a dead dog. yes he was a mut but he was very loving and useful to us, letting us know when someone was comming in the drive way (we live in the country).

what kind of damages am i due , previous vet bills ? cost of getting new dog? pain and suffering?

not looking to get rich off my dead dog just want acknowlegement and what is due to my family.

thank you again

Sorry for you loss. There are no vet bills to claim because the dog, unfortunately, is no longer with us... Now, regarding what you can claim is the cost of getting a new dog and maybe pain and suffering since you have lost a hardworking and dear family member. Take your case to small claims court and indicate that in your filing. If you cannot figure out the amount for pain and suffering, request that the magistrate help you with that.
