Where is the father(s) to these children? Why did CPS remove them from your care? How old is your grandmother?

You can't assign RIGHTS to other HUMAN BEINGS because it is ILLEGAL to own, sell, trade, barter, or give away human beings in the nation.

You don't own your children.

You possess certain parental rights, as well as OBLIGATIONS to your children.

I suggest you ask the court to appoint you a lawyer at the hearing.

Every parent who is facing the removal of their child(ren) before a court of law has the right to request taxpayer funded counsel to protect and preserve their parental and human rights.

If you are unable to afford an attorney and qualify for same, the court will see to it that an attorney is assigned to represent you, the child(ren), and the father (as in each party will have her/his own attorney).

I believe my grandmother is in her sixties. The father's rights are also in motion to be termed for not complying with courts and also they haven't been to visitation I come to my visits.

My grandmother had custody of them once before my aunt was baby sitting for my grandmother and my aunt whooped my olddt daughter so they where removed from my granny home. I was locked up at the time. My grandmother and aunt both have they own separate houses. Is a very difficult tricky case very stressful. The fathers sides both have enough power to get the girls but I fear not ever seeing them again also they dont want to keep them together my kids bond are so strong they go to different schools and cry for one another some days they cant be apart.

You mean you're trying to voluntarily relinquish your parental rights - which in doing so does not guarantee your grandmother will be able to adopt them. It could happen but not guaranteed.

Where is the father? Have you contacted him at all about this? What is it the court says isn't "good enough?" What "records" do you need?

You realize if you relinquish your parental rights legally you become a stranger. Even if grandma adopts them - she won't have to let you see them. So you relinquishing parental rights may not help you to be with them again.

You can file a lawsuit for almost anything it doesn't mean it will go anywhere. What you would sue the court for?

You need to be talking to your lawyer - you said you have a court appointed lawyer.

It's obvious that your intention is to agree to a termination of your parental rights so that the children can be placed with the grandmother. The problem with that is it's also obvious that this is simply a ploy to sidestep the state's attempts at protecting your children, since you plan continued contact even while they are in the grandmother's custody. In a way, it's probably a good thing that grandmother has already shown herself to be an unfit custodian of the children as well.

She was incarcerated.
It seems to me that the actual reason for the removal was that the guardian for the kids allowed for abuse to happen:

My grandmother had custody of them once before my aunt was baby sitting for my grandmother and my aunt whooped my olddt daughter so they where removed from my granny home. I was locked up at the time.

You know...the same guardian that the OP wants the kids to go back to.

That's what I was thinking....but I think it needs to be clarified by OP.

Incarceration, in of itself, shouldn't cause CPS to take custody of the children...unless OP was put in prison for harming/allowing someone else to harm the child(ren).

The way I read it was that the OP was "locked up" and OP's grandma was caring for the kids. The kids were abused, so the state removed them. Now that the OP's not "locked up", the OP wants to relinquish her rights and have CPS place the kids with the same grandma from whom they were previously removed...

This is NOT a DIY project firing your Lawyer was unwise at very least. You are assuming you can do what you see in an effort to get what YOU want. It does not work that way. If you did release your parental rights and the courts permitted you and Dad to do so YOU have NO say so on where they are placed! As others have stated you need a lawyer!
