Finding a law major for case assistance?

I have a custody case I am trying to fight, but due to not having the money to afford an attorney, have been unable to get anywhere with my case. Someone just recently suggested I try to find someone pursuing a law degree at a grad school for assistance with my case. While I have found some other similar suggestions online, I have tried to contact a couple local colleges, but none of them have any programs or other resources to help me reach out to their students (or if they do, the faculty I have spoken to are unaware of them). Anyone have any suggestions of venues I might be able to utilize to reach out to these students for assistance?

A law degree can't be obtained in any graduate school.

One earns a law degree in a law school.

Some law schools operate legal clinics staffed by "law students".

You might find assistance in a law clinic, but most law school clinics assist elderly, disabled, or financially disadvantaged people with SOME issues, however, the thrust of such clinics support those with criminal legal problems.

Some law schools might have legal clinics that might provide assistance, but no one other than a lawyer (or a law student participating in such a clinic under a lawyer's supervision) can do much of anything for you. I suggest contacting law schools, not just any college.
