In Park After Dark Citation

Around 2 years ago I had been at a mall with my friend and we had been caught shoplifting. Since then I have learned my lesson and gotten my record cleared through the youth aid panel available in my town. I was told by my mother that if I were to be caught in any criminal activity again, as little as a party being busted regardless of if i were drinking, that the shoplifting charges would be put back onto my record. But last night around 10:30 my boyfriend and I were at a park, he's 17 and I am 16, when an officer pulled up and asked for our names and etc. He let us go and warned us for future preference not to be out so late at a park. What will he do with that information he wrote down and will my shoplifting charge be put back on?

Why don't you return to the park tonight and ask the officer?

Better yet, visit the police station, ask for the officer you encountered last evening.

Once he or she appears, ask him or her your questions.

Bottom line, only the officer you encountered knows what he will do with your names.

If you wish to avoid such encounters, I suggest you SIMPLY follow all existing laws.

You are free to ignore my words, as you admit to having ignored your mother's words.

There are jails and prisons full of people who have failed to follow the very simple rules of a civilized society.

Nothing will happen. No it will not affect your previous offense.

Most parks close at dark if there is not a specific time posted on signs.
