No offense, but are you retarded?
What did you think would happen when you reported your illegal apartment to the government? They could come bring you flowers?
Yes, it sucks, but how can you say you're terribly surprised?
I would think the simple nature of a payment would give that indication unless it was stated otherwise.
If I owe you $50, and walk up and hand you $20, then walk away -- wouldn't you assume I had given you that $20 to go towards the $50, as opposed to say, giving you the $20 as 'payment in...
If the BIL has paid him any $$ in the last 4 years, the SOL should still be current, as it would have reset each time the BIL paid on the debt.
That's what I understand anyway.
How long ago was the last payment, BCI?
So, I could put on the invoices I send out to clients that their charge is $X, and put a note at the bottom saying 'actual charge may vary', and just charge them whatever I like when I actually process their credit card?
If that's legal, then what isn't? :)
Sounds like the pizza guy gave himself an extra tip. ;)
Especially with what Domino's pays, well, you can blame them, sure, but still, wouldn't be surprised. At all.
Also, you should note that payments are applied by accounting principals (not sure on the exact terminology).
I.e.:
January they are late, and end up owing $20 in late fees.
When they send their February rent in, the first 20 should go to cover late fees, and if they only sent $1500, then...
Though it could be argued that Akita's are known to be more dangerous than other breeds, however, if the lady who was bit can use that against the OP, then the OP could use that against the lady who was bit as well. :D
Yeah, okay, you got me there. I did miss out on that added bit. Very to the point.
On your last post, very cool. Glad to hear they've not yet gone RIAA with things, but still ridiculous that they take the route they do. Perhaps they've just found people respond quicker to the takedown notices...
Completely agreed.
While legally I would guess from Getty to the OP, Getty could get a judgment for whatever they wanted (under the statutory copyright limits, of course), the OP would then have recourse against where the OP purchased the template.
It's frustrating, but from what I know, I...
My guess?
You were late, which blew your 0% apr away, so the $200 is the interest on your balance from the time last calculated until you paid through the collector.
I.e. They calc interest on the 1st, collector calls you on the 15th. You pay your $1000 balance, then on the 1st, you had a...
My landlord regularly takes 2 weeks or more to cash the rent checks.
It drives me up the wall.
However, I did some digging, and my bank offers the option to 'block off' the funds for pending checks, so they don't show up in my available balance.
I still haven't decided to take that...
As a developer/designer, I just wanted to agree with you here. Though sometimes it's easier (especially on the word-of-mouth side of things) to just try and cut your losses and end it as amicably as possible. Clients can be real bummers sometimes.
