Hi,
I was working at the Biltmore Estate. I started work in the beginning of October 2012 working as a Retail Associate in The Carriage House Gift Shop. I stood on my feet up to 8 hours a day. On October 26 I feel down the stairs and sprained my ankle very bad! I was eventually let go by the Biltmore as I could not preform my job and of course there busiest time is Christmas. Well I am still seeing the Doctor as my foot is not healing. Today I finally got to see an Ankle Specialist and he gave me an injection in the ankle but said he has seen this sort of injury many times and will probably require out patient surgery and then recovery time from the surgery. Right now I have to wait 3 weeks before I return again to see the specialist. Which means I can't work. So who pays me for this? I can't get another job until this is healed unless of course I could be sitting 8 hours a day. Workman's Comp. is paying for my Doctor and will pay for Surgery but what about me, how can I pay my bills? Please Help!!
Thanks
