What is the law say about a driver that is doing road rage

I was in driving and already in front of this other driving in a road that was going into a one lane. And as I was already in front of this other driver he is already honking like a crazy person. He's trying to get around me, driving close to my bumper. He's flipping me off as I look through my rear view mirror. I almost called the cops. But after seeing he was not going to do much but be a jerk , I just flipped him off back, and I only stopped on my breaks once to so he's back off driving so close to me. I was going to write down his license plate number and report it on one of those bad driver sites online. This guy after passing me just looked at me, he looked like he was on something. He had a lot of patriotic stickers on his vehicle. Obviously he wasn't too patriotic. I rarely run into this kind of issue. Unless it's a parking spot.

Really stupid move. Could have made him crazier. Could have pulled a gun.

The way to handle those people is to continue driving safely and ignore them. Back off and let them have the road.

If a cop had seen him he would have been pulled over and cited.

But since nothing actually happened to you, except being annoyed, the "law" has nothing for you. Reporting him now will do absolutely nothing.

He wasn't going anywhere anyway. Cars were in front of me. Cars on opposite side of road going opposite direction. The dude must have been late for a date or just smoking too much junk. Lucky me enough people around to witness whatever he'd pull.

You are lucky you weren't shot. Road ragers don't give a damn if there are witness...because they are nuts. They are in a rage and lose sight of rational human behavior.

Lots of witnesses to this shooting and yet this little boy never made it to school. He's dead. Shot by a road rager. 11 years old.
