My fiance has visitation but not custody of his daughter. Is he able to volunteer at school functions, such as parties and donations or anywhere they might need an extra set of hands?

Probably not, but he should inquire of the school for a specific answer.

I don't see why not either unless there is something in the visitation/custody order to the contrary.

I would say no but if there are special provisions in the order then maybe not. I suspect there may be more to this otherwise why the concern.
