Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Prostitution

Please help! I made the huge mistake of hiring a call girl from Craigslist. She seemed nice enough and was reasonable so I went a head with it. After she left I discovered that she had stolen my $2000 Movado watch off of my dresser. Yes I know I'm an idiot for leaving it there and for even doing this in the first place. This was my first time and I have certainly learned my lesson. Based on what she told my, I'm certain she has been arrested locally so I would like to report the theft to the police. Am I just going to get myself in trouble? Should I just let it go? Any advice from someone well versed in this area would be greatly appreciated. I'll pay for advice if needed. Thanks!
