Paternity/drug testing

How much does a court ordered paternity test cost? Who is responsible for paying the costs? In addition, can the courts order drug testing for custody and visitation purposes and if so what method of drug testing can they order?

It largely depends on what state but yes if there is suspicion that one parent is using drugs the courts can certainly request a drug test it largely depends on the court but most courts nowadays use a hair sample. I have no idea on the paternity test, the cost could be split between the parents.

The state is Kansas and does the mother have to have proof of suspected drug use or just claim it
