Was in an accident at a store. Did not fill out injury report, I just wanted to get out of there. Later that night I became very sore and bruised all over. Went to the emergency room, ruptured disc among other things. Got a lawyer. Had to get onto him about not keeping us in the loop. We went almost 5 months without hearing from the guy. Then, 2 years later we finally have our deposition. Now he says we dont have much of a case and might only get enough to pay for the hospital bills and lawyer fees only. Lawyer says we cant prove it even happened and he never has found the employee or witnesses. Did he even try?
This is not a frivolous law suite.
Not looking to get rich, justice and fairness would be nice.
Can I get a new lawyer and if so how do I go about it and is it suggested?
