need advice quickly

I am in the process of getting a divorce with my wife. We have 3 year old son and she is unable to care for him because she has no job, no place to live and has decided to let me take care of him for the next few months. I have no problems doing this but I know she will not improve within that time frame. I want to have sole custody of my son but I need to know how to do this without causing a fight with his mother. Please help me.

File for temporary custody until you go to court. No matter what I'm sure it will cause problems.
