My stepfather was recently arrested for 2 counts of domestic violence and possibly for child abuse(for choking and slamming my 11 year old brother into the wall). The police officers told me and my wife we have temp custody. Child protective services came out the next day took everybody's statements and said they would be in touch. A few days passed and I called the caseworker she went to the jail to visit the father he said he didn't want them to be withme, my wife,and our 2 kids. The caseworker also said if he doesn't find someone to take them they will go to a fosterhome. I don't want that.My sister is 14. Is there anything i can do to prevent them from going to a foster home. The biological mother hasn't been around in a year.
