Mother has custody of 17yo. she recently remarried and moved out of state and left 17yo with a 25yo sibling. The 25 yo said the mother had signed over guardianship (although not in court of law) by getting a letter she wrote notorized. Although we haven't been told, we suspect the 17yo has dropped out of school and is now working with brother. If there is a child support order in the state of Georgia, are we still responsible for paying the mother even if the child no longer lives with her? If we are not, what do we need to do to handle this legally?
