My jurisdiction is: BC Canada

Can I cut off lock on a self contained mini storage unit that is 3 months in arrears to determine contents?

I am not familiar with the laws in BC, but I would think you have to send written notice to the tenant and provide a specified amount of time for them to respond before you can force entry.
Does anyone know the law regarding this in Canada?
