My ex packed up and moved back to Trinidad about 5 years ago with our two daughters (Both born in the US). I send money monthly and I still have a hard time seeing them when I visit the country. I would like to get visitation or joint custody of the girls but not sure what to do because they're not living in the US. Do I start proceedings here or do I have to do it in the country they reside in. Please advise. I'm a dad just trying to do the right thing.
