I am curious as to whether a parent can sign over guardianship to the grandparents if the children are already in custody of DSC living in a foster home. DCS is in the process of petitioning the courts to place the children with relatives other than the grandparents. The grandparents were originally considered for placement, but turned down. Just curious

No one knows the answer.

But if the grandparents are interested in getting custody, then they best hire a lawyer and get in the picture.
