found out termite damage 1 year later

I bought a house over a year ago in MA and realized that it has termite damage recently. A few pest control guys said the home inspector should have caught the damage. There was no termite disclosure from previous owner, although there was evidence that the house was treated before (from the drill holes on the garage floor) but the timing was not clear. What can I do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is that, "the previous owner indicated there were no termites", or "the previous owner made no disclosure one way or the other about termites"?

Does the house still have termites? What kind of damage does it have?

Much will depend on whether the inspection should have revealed the termite damage. If yes, your inspector might be liable. If not, it may have been a latent defect that the owner had a duty to disclose.
