Diferents interpretations of court order

If the judge said...........every year, the mother will be with the kids the last week of summer vacations.

School start Tuesday August 23.

Fathers claim the kids Friday 19, 20, 21 as his weekend with the kids.

We have alternant weekends during school year.

He is treating me to call the police if I don't give him the kids.

My interpretation: Summer vacation is when you don't have to go to school. School is on weekdays. Your last "week" is the 15th through the 19th. Dad's weekend is Saturday and Sunday the 20th and the 21st.

If the two of you want to go scorched earth battle for one freakin' day, go for it.

You really want to put your kids through that?

My interpretation would be the same... that the last week of vacation is this week, ending Friday.
Normal weekend visitation and school year visitation resumes then.

Your literal interpretation of the last week being the 7 days immediately prior goes against how these orders are typically planned.
