I build websites and I have developed a site for a customer who has paid me the deposit but not is not paying the rest of the money.
I have a contract with him and was wondering if I can take him to small claims court.
He has told me that he just filled bankruptcy and will include this debt on it. Does this mean im out of luck because he has filed bankruptcy?
I have done the job and spent my own time and now I owe money to another designer who helped me with this because the customer is not paying me. Now I have to pay the guy who helped me out of my own pocket because I hired him to help me.
Is there anything I can do? Does the bankruptcy put me out of luck with getting the money that I have worked for?
