How soon are creditors allowed to take you to court? After 30 days of non payment? or do they have to wait longer?? this is for cell phone bills, utility and medical bills. And can they put leins on your property if the amount of debt you have is lower than what you own. Example- car I own is worth maybe $5000 and these bills are maybe $3000 total-can they put lein on my car (I do not own a home)
